Cam swap/DOD help.
Just got most if not all my Parts from Texas Speed stage 2 DOD delete, along with a billet Circle D converter. My go to guy that was gonna help me flaked out. Is there any knowledgeable Caprice, G8, SS enthusiasts out there that can take on this task? Looking for someone not necessarily a shop in th...

Love that Burgundy color. I think I'll continue looking at the options from Trackspec Motorsports . They seem to have a good selection of hood louvers, even though they don't offer much protection from water entering the top of your motor, luckily we don't get much rain over here. Lol

Does the G8 hood interchangeable with ours?
Someone must be making a bolt on hood for our PPVs. I'll post a picture of one of a customer who comes here where I had my steelies widened.

Yeah I'm probably overthinking it. I wonder why GM engineers would make such a minor change like that, its only .030 maybe just to screw with us. Lol

Bolt Patterns 5X120MM or 5X4-3/4"(120.65) ?
I need to put this topic to rest guys. Since it was Cyber Monday today I thought I would once again look for some 18 X 10" one piece alloy wheels with an offset of about 40 to 50 mm (6-1/2" to 7-1/2" Approx. Back/space) which isnt easy to find. But came real close with a company in WI. called "Custo...

Re: Looking to buy wheels for my 2014 Caprice
Are Those Camaro Wheels? Well I went On-line to see what wheels are on sale for Cyber Monday and actually spoke to a few companies specializing in out of the ordinary offsets, One company was "Custom Offsets" in WI. the other here in Long Beach. One says our bolt pattern is 5X4-3/4" in his fitment b...

Oil pressure relief valve in pan.
Are you guys plugging off the 14mm threaded hole in the pan that has the relief valve during your DOD/cam swaps? Texas Speed recommends plugging it when using the Melling high pressure/ High volume pump #10355HV that is recommended for our L77 motors.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: My 2012 ppv single turbo build
A question for undercvppv. What was your rev limit set at? And what diameter converter did you have on it when you spun the bearing. And are you guys blocking off the oil pressure relief valve in the pan after doing the DOD and cam swap? You really didn't have a lot of miles on it for spinning the b...

Re: Looking to buy wheels for my 2014 Caprice
Thanks Barry. I'm in the So. Cal. Area and I used New Year metal finishing in Santa Ana which was OK for the price around ($150 each). I wish they would of pressure tested it by putting a tire on it prior to powder coating them because I found two tiny pin holes in each of the wheels which had to be...
