Re: Hello from Toledo, Ohio

Pain to keep clean, but man does that paint look nice in the sun! Ours is PBM, and I do sigh in resignation that it'll get dirty when I have to pull it out in the rain. :(

Re: JBA Headers

The catalog listing on their website indicates they fit the G8 AND SS. It would be interesting to know if they clear the oil cooler. They don't look bad, and look like they can be bolted right up to the factory exhaust. You lose a cat, though. Without tuning, I think the O2 sensor might get angry. h...

Re: Hello from Toledo, Ohio

EDIT: Yep:

viewtopic.php?f=31&t=3694

But the sale is closed. It went for $11K and change.

Oh, and welcome!

Re: 11.68 @ 117

Need to work on that tree a bit! Nice pass. How does that converter/gear combination work on the street? Just curious. Our 96 SS has a converter and gear in it. It's kind of lazy off a light, unless you stick your foot in it, but otherwise not bad to drive. Just wondering about this combo. Th...

Just for giggles, what condition are the tail lights in? Might be interested in adding to the spares pile. Thanks.

<SNIP> Just to be 100% clear, the calipers are installed with bleed ports at the top - yes? <SNIP> All of Bill's points are good, but this one is important. We've had at least one member who got these calipers discover there are (LF) and (RF) stickers on these calipers, and it appears the calipers ...

Re: Looks like Fun!

I’m sure I do but could you educate me or send me some pics on exactly what the module is and what it looks like Basically just the headlight and tail light assemblies. Lenses and housings. The headlights on our car are showing some separation in the clear lens. The tail lights are fine, but again,...

Re: ELM 327 cheap

We have a Samsung Galaxy 4 Tab that we use for datlogging in our race car. It worked fine with the ELM. Screen makes a nice 'dashboard', too.

Re: Looks like Fun!

I currently have 3 parts cars so it appears I will have everything I need. I’ve been purchasing cars that were involved in wrecks and then selling the drive train out of them to then end up with a cheap source of parts Hmm, got any usable headlight and tail light modules out of those 'spare' cars? ...
