Re: Ceramic coating
I just did the Adam's ceramic graphene coating on my 2019 Subaru back around Christmas time, and it is hard to say if it is worth it at this time. I will say even on a 2019 it is a lot of prep work and you need a controlled environment. I ran out of time and was only able to do one coat. If you comm...

Speedometer calibration
After doing some research I can not seem to find a clear answer, so I figured I’d ask. I just installed a 3.27 diff and the speedo is off. I know the ideal solution is to have the trans tuned with HP tuners. This would program shift points and the speedo could be adjusted. As of right now, I cannot ...

Re: Speed Engineering headers, high flow cats, X muffler and Camaro mid-pipe
Looks like nice work, I hate how low the speed engineering headers hang down on mine. They scrape a lot. I’m also lowered quite a bit. Thank you! They most certainly do sit low, that was one of the first things I noticed. I have driven over speed humps and small speed bump and I haven't scraped yet...

Re: Canuck Caprice
Those are some awesome gains, and surprising for 87 octane. I am curious what it would've made on E85 (I heard E85 was hard to find up North though).

Re: Speed Engineering headers, high flow cats, X muffler and Camaro mid-pipe
Nice work! Just for my own info, how long did it take you from start to finish? Are you also getting it dyno tuned? I just did it and it's worth it! In fact, if you don't you might destroy your cats as I found out it was running very rich with the stock tune and headers. . I would say roughly 8 hou...

Speed Engineering headers, high flow cats, X muffler and Camaro mid-pipe
After reading through several threads and asking a few questions, I put together a budget full exhaust, I know I'm not the first, but I thought a video may help people down the road. I tried to keep it functional and keep the noise down. Parts for the build (I can provide links if you wish): Speed E...

Re: Mysterious electronic noise in engine bay
That is definitely an odd one. Could be the CAN shutting down or something on the CAN powering down. Depending on the car the CAN may stay awake for up to 30 min. Most cars just click though, this is def out there. If it was more common you could do a current draw test and trace it.

Re: air intake
Figured I'd revive this thread with a homemade intake I made. I used the silicone coupler and clamps on page 1. For the pipe I opted for a Spectre 110 degree 4' intake. I think the 120 degree may have worked a little better. I did have to cut the pipe so it would fit. I have to disclose, I didn't co...

Re: Camaro exhaust
Maurice, I actually read through both of your post's prior to posting this, and almost sent you a PM asking. those were both really good posts. That's kind of what got the ball going for me with this idea. I want to run cats since we have road side sniffers (emissions checks on high ramps) where I l...

Re: Camaro exhaust
I know this is an old post but wanted to fire it back up for some info. After doing some searches on here, I've read that Camaro SS, G8, and PPV all have the same manifolds. That being said, I found out JBA makes a Camaro high flow cat/mid pipe (link below). Since the manifolds are the same, I would...
