Re: New User
Being parked next to a fireplug might be some sort of violation . At least your calipers match the fireplug . I'm used to seeing red or just plain dingy calipers. Those look very nice!

Re: Proud new owner of a Caprice PPV!
What is your preferred color? Black shows dirt like crazy but looks sooo good when clean. White is nice too. Your paint job (black/white combo) is called "panda". What is the "real color"? In other words, what do the door jams, under hood and inside trunk look like? If I could pi...

Re: Proud new owner of a Caprice PPV!
Welcome Mr. CarJ, Good deal that you got low miles and hours. I'm in NW Indiana... about an hour away from you. Welcome to the greatest show on earth. Well, pretty good anyway. This place is crazy good reference and a bunch of nice folks. You'll have to keep us current. I just buffed my "...

Door sill plate (front) for 2013
I need one sill plate. I'm not sure if they're the same for 11-13 and 14+? Maybe they are.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Pontiac G8 Leather seats - fits 11-13 Caprice
I apologize. I did not list a price. 400 bucks. I do not notice any rips or tears. The 'car side' connectors are included.

Pontiac G8 Leather seats - fits 11-13 Caprice
I have a set of G8 Seats that will bolt in to a 11-13 Caprice. The connectors from the car side are included if you want to adapt the wiring. Alternatively, you can move the "skins" to your seats using your frame. These seats are in NW Indiana (think where Chicago meets Indiana). Please IM...

Re: Hesitation in downshifting when in sport mode
I've had auto transmissions misbehave after which I changed the fluid and had excellent results. My Honda Ridgeline was doing all kinds of bad things and seemed completely cured after 2 trans fluid changes. I did the same to a 2009 Vibe (Toyota) after it had a very odd 1-2 shift. Now fixed. Very odd...

Re: New Member intro.
Adding to my previous post.. Sport mode is when you move the shifter from drive to the right. You move into manual mode if you bump shift up or down - which is pretty nifty. Once you do this, it seems you're forced into doing most of the shifting. I like sport mode - where the shifting is all done f...

Re: New Member intro.
The 9C3 shifter is nice. Throw it in "sport mode" and it is a different car (move the shifter to the right when in drive). Enjoy! It seems to me that the shift points are moved up a bit and the throttle sensitivity is tweaked when you do this. I'd love to make this the "permanent"...
