Re: LS3 Tremec 6 speed and 1LE diff

my cam only G8 made over 450 , and my friends cam only LS2's made between 410-420 the compression ratios in the L76/77 is 10.4 , LS3 10.7 , LS6 10.5 and LS2 10.9 , so other than bore and having a very conservative cam , the L76/77 isnt that far off from the LS3 people have put LS3 cams into their L7...

Re: LS3 Tremec 6 speed and 1LE diff

a .030 bored 6.0 is half way to the 6.2 bore , being he had the bottom end let go , im guessing some of his problems started there a cam only L77 can make north of 450 , and most cam only LS2's made 410-425 LS6 and LS2 heads are the same , the early 5.3 heads had smaller ports and smaller combustion...

Re: LS3 Tremec 6 speed and 1LE diff

the L77 has the LS3 style heads already , and they were designed before the LS3's came out , and based on the 6.0 bores , if i remember correctly on a LS2 with 243 heads and 10.9 compression , the heads made 30-40hp more , while the compression dropped to 10.4 but yes having the 6.2 bore will help t...

Re: LS3 Tremec 6 speed and 1LE diff

just stick to a V8 , swapping in the manual requires the most work , the ls3 and camaro diffs are direct swaps unless its a ZL1 diff

Re: LFX to L77

the V6 are just as beat up as the V8's , my local PD has moslty V6's the engine harness is the biggest issue of why to get the V8 to start with , since most people that part them out sell the harness with the engine and they get butchered , instead of staying with the car , getting the other parts a...

Re: LFX to L77

I'm in the market for a Caprice and I plan to heavily modify it. Would buying a V6 work if I was planning to buy a LS3 or LSA pullout? I would plan on finding a pullout as complete as possible. Does anyone know if Chevrolet put in smaller rear end and axles or a weaker version of the 6L80E? Would I...

Re: 2014 PPV and 2014 Chevy SS radio swap?

basic answer it plugs in and works after being programed , and only basic features

yes other features can work , nav , xm , but they require more work and more programing

probably best reading through the whites section here , and the dealer will not be any help
