Re: Just back from new camshaft tuning Question

Good luck. Please report back if you were able to resolve it. I hope the information I have provided is useful if only generically to someone else combined with your above reply to my post, which, again, I thank you for. Dave Awesome to hear you got it solved Dave! Unfortunately I've seen a prolife...

Re: LSA Supercharger Installation

I didn't see you say it anywhere, just out of curiosity what kind of number did you get out of your caprice? hp/qtr miie I'm not one to post numbers as dyno charts since they are useless by themselves, even when SAE corrected to sea level. However while on the rollers last year while refining the t...

Re: Just back from new camshaft tuning Question

The tuner probably didn't spend a lot of time working the idle areas or verifying the minimum idle RPM for that cam. The surging you're experiencing is many times having too much idle and coast down timing which have not been optimized to the required airflow. It also sounds like it needs more mini...

Re: LSA Supercharger Installation

This is some really good information! I plan on using this to assist me on putting the supercharger on my 2011 caprice I have a few questions. Is the connector for the zl1 injectors the same as the stock electrical connector? is the stock fuel pump able to supply enough fuel? does the supercharger ...

Re: LSA Supercharger Installation

Dfreehd,

I decided to use the stock converter for now since I'm running the LS9 cam and it idles low enough to not flash the converter. With a good engine and trans tune, it drives just fine on the street even with aggressive driving. For the drag strip the ZL1 or aftermarket stall might be better.

Re: Brembo swap

Did mine a little while ago with CTS-V calipers and two piece front rotors. Rear rotors are also CTS-V with the cross tubes and bleed nipples swapped. Having had the CTS-V and ATS-V, I love the Brembo 6 piston feel. https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4832/31327183677_ff00331d3b_c.jpg https://c1.staticfli...

Re: DOD Delete and LS9 Cam from Texas Speed 2012 PPV

I installed my LS9 cam last year and have run it both N/A and blown. I like the cam very much. I really like the stock-like manners.
