Re: We're going to try the user chat again!

Hi folks, I just posted the next live chat as a board announcement. Wednesday, October 6 (1st Wednesday of the month), 8:00 PM Eastern. Unless something changes I'll keep it on the 1st Wednesday for the time being... And.. chats are always held off the main forum page using our on-board Mchat module...

Re: Going to be a lifer - Might as well have an account here

Welcome, glad to have you here! Just a little story for entertainment, we almost actually had the first Facebook group for the PPV as well sponsored off this system. I built this website & forum in late 2012 and opened it for public consumption in 2013. I put a considerable amount of work at that ti...

Re: Rear seat interchange

Well, I tried a second upholstery shop locally. The good news is that I can get the entire seat section trim pulled & re-installed with a new one for 1/2 hour labor ($35). I can still get a brand new trim section for $199 from Butler Chevrolet if I want to go that route. The shop didn't want to do a...

Re: We're going to try the user chat again!

Thanks to everyone that participated in the user chat last night. Numbers were small compared to what we used to see "in the old days" (I.E. 2016 & before) but everyone that participated had a good time and all had some sort of takeaway. I'm thinking about running the chats monthly, perhaps 1st Wedn...

Re: SS Rear Seats??

Yep, the lock striker for the center section was in my car as well, the only thing not there you might have to order separately is the decorative plastic trim plate held on by two plastic push-fasteners. 100% plug & play. For the record, Garner's post above about G8 seats not being plug-n-play for 1...

Re: New2me 2012 6.0 PPV

When people do stupid stuff like that sometimes a call to the fleet manager is in order to make him/her aware of what's going on. If you know the agency that sold the vehicle's name, drop a dime. The fleet manager definitely doesn't want the political heat from an agency head saying "YOU COST US MON...

Re: Rear seat interchange

Yep, without question I'm going to have to shop it. These guys are the top-quality shop in the area, they do the work for Porsche, Mercedes, Audi, Volvo, and other dealers & euro indy shops on the Space Coast. Of course they're hungry like everyone else these days...

Re: Rear seat interchange

Holy Shimama Batman! My upholstery shop wanted in excess of $400 to fix the hole in the seat. For a breakdown, ordering the perforated leather to replace the panel was about $180, then 3 hours labor at $75 per hour to de-install the skin, remove the bad leather panel, sew in the new panel, and reins...
