Re: Canuck Caprice

I'm in the states but Farmer's was going to give me a policy until they wanted obscenely more than Geico. In the process I compared Progressive, Farmers and Geico, and Geico is by far the cheapest in my case even though I'm paying the "under 25 with a sports car" penalty. Farmers told me to get anot...

Re: How To: Adding an amplifier

Just want to make another shoutout to Steve here for his hard work and great guides. Yet another stellar write-up. I bought his harness, and it worked phenomenal. I have a 13 so I did not technically need 8 wires, and already have a sub box in the trunk. I ended up just stacking the rear wires on th...

Re: Lockers?

I grabbed a 50,000 mile 3.27 off of ebay and my traction in slippery conditions has improved an easy 70% or so.

Much more noticeable and less inclined to spin. My mileage has only taken a 5-10% hit too, not enough to notice.

And she launches. I'm happy with the swap.

Re: ABS light on

Probably will need a brake pedal position relearn with a Tech2. That's what happens whenever the BCM completely dies, is disconnected etc. Ask how I know lol.

Re: can I just swap out the radio?

20ft is enough for me, I do have a sub box that I could mount my second amp to through the rear seat, or if it fits under the rear seat perhaps do that. My first amp is mounted forward of the battery in the trunk. I could tap the pink wire with the blue stripe in the trunk that you advised I use for...

Re: can I just swap out the radio?

Steve I have the up fitter harness with the rear flash separator, grille/siren, relay for wig wags, etc. Upon first glance it didn't look like it plugged in the empty connector for the rears? You can vaguely see it in the background of the picture I previously posted and kind of see the writing on t...

Re: How To: Fog Light Wiring

Can you repost that link for me or PM it? That's pretty much what I'm looking for. Sounds easy enough, I would prefer to do it that way.
