Re: Clone tech 2

You can find tech2win license for as low as 5 dollars I believe. You just need the J2534 pass through tool to connect via Tech2win. You can Google the download/license. With modern technology a Tech2 clone is not worth it since you can emulate it via a Laptop and pass through tool. I used the VXdiag...

Re: Transmission issues

I just ran a bottle of Lucas for two weeks in my Mercedes SLK200 with the 722.6 transmission, whereas BMWs and Mercedes are known for particularly touchy transmissions. It was even overfilled, no problems. This is a Eurospec car, I'm in Germany. I'm not sure how long ago this was, but the formula I'...

Re: Transmission issues

Gamma, more new fluid is never a bad thing unless a flush was performed and the clutch material was pushed out. I used Amsoil transmission fluid in my Caprice and it loves it. Runs very cool. Definitely get that Dipstick installed and go from there. Also try to upgrade to the widemouth filter and se...

Re: Transmission issues

Moose, maybe you can try a bottle of Lucas stop slip too, I always had decent results with it. Have you overfilled the transmission, as some members have had good results with as much as half a quart /liter over? Did you do the Camaro pan/filter upgrade? I also agree with the above post that VCM sca...

Re: P013D

I see, I believe they are stock O2 sensors and have ran them for 5000+ miles before they threw this code. I might have to disable the code as well. It never threw it until I brought it out of storage after 20 months.

Thanks for your input.

P013D

https://www.obd-codes.com/p013d Anyone ever experience this code? It rarely comes on but it does. Sometimes it'll go 10+ days with nothing then it'll come on. I have not replaced the downstream O2s recently but did clean them in gas before putting my Solo performance exhaust in. Wires are fine, I di...

Re: What did you do to your Caprice today?

Finally got some different rims for her. Holy crap are they lighter than the steelies! Feel twice as light almost.

Had to run 5/16 spacer to clear front brembos but so far everything is normal.

Re: WX7 Confusion

So you might have to do some digging, but what's common past 2012 cars is that they all have rear speakers. All of them receive signal. But they don't have amped output from the silver box. If you turn the output all the way to the rear, and the volume nearly max, you can hear them. Even through the...
