Re: Headers w/o Oil cooler delete?

Any shorty headers for the SS I would imagine would work for the Caprice due to similar oil cooler provisions. I think a few guys here might have used different OEM manifolds as well (Maurice I think used ones from an LS7 Z28? There may be others I can't recall right now though). Outside of those tw...

Re: Show off your wheels ON YOUR CAR!

Finally can contribute. Added G8 door handles, SS springs (in the front so far... projects keep accruing elsewhere), and 18" Enkei Raijin wheels. I was nervous about a black wheel, but since I took off some of the black vinyl trim I had added and brought more chrome back, I felt better. The satin fi...

Re: Cylinder 2 misfire

Where reasonable, move ignition/fuel components from cylinder 2 to another, perhaps one without DOD. See if the code moves.

Re: Steering Slack

Yep that's where I'm headed. Have new wheels I have to have tpms transferred over, going to have them just inspect everything up front after moving tires over

Steering Slack

When I was pulling into my driveway, I felt like there was a bit of free play in the steering wheel before the wheels turned. Not much, but noticeable. Would that be a rack or shaft issue? I know on my old Duramax the intermediate steering shaft was a known issue, so that's why I ask. Thanks

Re: Hello from TN

Welcome!

The long wheel base makes the car seat loading/unloading a breeze. However I certainly do not miss the detachable seat/seat base setup. Best of luck with it, white looks great on these.
