Re: addition of lower front fascia grille

Karo @ Holden Parts USA no longer lists it. Don't know about availability from other sources in US or AU, but it never was a part fitted to a US car, so it will have to come from AU.

See first post in thread for PN info.

Re: Corvette Wheels

I've generally given up on explaining my position in regard to this question, but since there has been no response, I'll just offer some fresh perspective. C7 & older Corvette wheels do not share the same wheel bolt pattern as the PPV. Specs are 120.65mm PCD and 70.3mm hub register The PPV has a...

Re: Rubbing after lowering with Camaro 18s

I'm really surprised that this wheel/tire combination would rub under any circumstance. Chevrolet Camaro 2013 3.6 – Generation: V [2010 .. 2013] – Center Bore: 66.9 mm – PCD: 5x120 – Wheel Fasteners: Lug nuts – Wheel Tightening Torque: 190 Nm – Thread Size: M14 x 1.5 – Trim Production: [2012 .. 2013...

Re: Rubbing after lowering with Camaro 18s

That Camaro 18 in picture is 7.5" wide instead of 8.5, and is from Zeta platform, although it's also an option wheel on Gen6 (Alpha) cars, I think. I ran the earlier version if this wheel and don't recall any issues, but never with SS springs. Your car looks quite low for SS (rear) springs - is...

Re: Rubbing after lowering with Camaro 18s

These wheels are +32mm offset - the Zeta sedan suspension used +48mm offset for the same width wheel. That means this wheel is pushed out 16mm, so having a rub issue is no surprise. I've found that 35-38mm is the least offset the chassis/body will tolerate without rub. What does surprise me is the g...

Re: SS Sedan Springs under the 2011 Caprice PPV

The SS springs - regardless of model year sourced, 14-17, will fit PPV OEM shocks/struts. For all the work involved, better to renew the shocks/struts while it's apart - the 2011 PPV was still a work in progress, and OEM introduced better shock/damper valving calibration mid-production cycle. At 11 ...

Fuel tips - good info

from Grass Roots Motorsports - the linked article doesn't contain much, but there are plenty of others on the sidebar with additional info, hopefully they are readable without having to join GRM

Re: Parts interchange / compatibility list for G8, SS, & PPV?

Probably the best thing you can do in determining what fits & doesn't is to use the "Buyers Guide" feature on a website such as Rock Auto. It won't provide absolute assurance as to interchangeability, but it's probably accurate beyond 80% of the time. When searching, it's probably bett...
