PPVs at the 2019 Holden Showdown

There were only two of us making passes and there were supposedly only two others there. There were a ton of G8s and SSs. This event reminded me of how rare the PPVs actually are in the wild despite how many were built. Me and Mike with his black PPV: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddnUB1RcweM Me o...

Re: 11.68 @ 117

It's in the 23x/24x range. The converter is a 3800 triple disc from Circle D.

Re: Zl1 rear diff or cradle in a ppv?

Just go by what the Camaro, SS, and G8 guys do. They are the same car as far as you're concerned. There aren't many or any super fast Caprices out there, but that's because there just aren't many of them out there. If you never take it to the dragstrip and are only driving it on the street, you don'...

Re: New Tires - What Air Pressure to Run?

I used to keep mine at 34 psi all the time and never get alarms unless it got really cold and it dropped below that. If you keep them at 34 psi, you should be good. At least that's been my experience.

Re: Suspension refresh small parts

Looks like the thin rubber isolator that goes between the bottom of the spring and the shock.

Re: 11.68 @ 117

Thanks! It's pretty basic. Cam, converter, 3.45 Camaro rear, custom built 3" exhaust, Strange coilovers, BMR arms with rod ends, poly, or Delrin bushings everywhere and aluminum cradle bushings. The front suspension is totally stock with the exception of cut H&R coils.

11.68 @ 117

I just went 11.68 at 117 in my NA 2011 9C3. It was my first time down the track with the car. There are obvious trans tuning issues and I have the wrong intake manifold for the combination, so I'm really curious what it will do when it's all sorted out.

Congrats on the Procharger kit. Whenever you get done with the installation, and if you remember, can you please let me know if you have to dent the driver's side strut tower to fit the blower?

Re: 3.45 Differential install

Just to update: I ended up getting 92139104 coupler to diff bolts in the photo above. These were almost identical to the original Caprice bolts. They have a slightly longer shoulder, but it doesn't matter. I also got Camaro 92228335, 92228334, and 92228333 prop shaft to coupler bolts, nuts, and wash...
