Re: 3:27 Chevy SS Diff' vs. 3:45 Camaro
just did the 3.27 swap from a Camaro, went with that cause it was a little stronger and looking to go LSA with cam and stall so felt the 3.45 might be a little steep in that application in the future. The 3.27 really woke the car up, I think if I was gonna stay in the 400-500 hp I would have probabl...

Re: CHEVROLET / HOLDEN STEERING WHEEL CENTER
Nice to see some Aussies on here. Wish you would have found the site a couple months ago.
I got all the Holden badges and now have all the chevy stuff including the airbag pad in the garage.

You might be thinking of my post.

I used the stock box, but just got some silicon connectors and a vacuum cleaner part it ran me like $50.
Been on the car for months not this way and no issues.

Re: JBA Headers
Sorry have been busy with the Hurricane prep and then unshuttering houses. The headers were the coated ones. The picture I took was mid build so O2 were not hooked up yet, but I needed to get different o2 sensors with a little longer wires on them. When I mean no issues with fitment I mean that no i...

Re: air intake
I basically did the same thing but using turbo pipes. I did use a dust collector vacuum plastic part to connect the two and also add a plastic hose barb for that PCV hose. Works fine. Was disappointed that I don't get that "waaaaaaaaaah" sound from it at all. I get way more from the 5.3 i...

Re: air intake
Yes I capped off the vacuum hose. I have no engine lights, and I have not seen any codes pop due to this mod. I did this modification when I did JBA long tubes and full 2.5 exhaust with resonators/x-pipe/muffles, the only tuning I have is the rear o2 deletes since I forgot to weld in a wideband bung...

Can I use a shifter from a v6 g8 or must be a v8?lastcall190 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 9:32 am Good deal IMO.
As stated, you will need the shifter assembly from a G8 or 9C3 (former would be way easier I imagine). You could utilize your 9C1 shifter wiring if you want, but try to get as much of the shifter as possible.

Re: Console swap what else do I need?
I have an idea for some sort of lowered area for the cell phone. One of the guys that rents from me does life size models for the comic book conventions I am gonna ask him about doing something and making a mold.

Re: Console swap what else do I need?
The only reason I am doing it is for the AC to route to the back the wife complains that not enough air is getting back for the kid. What have you guys done with the redundant button controls is there a cover plate or block off plate, I was wondering if it is wide enough to make a cellphone holder t...
