I just checked and it's not in the 2014 owners guide. Wonder why GM removed the flag note on the pressures.... I'm guessing maybe because there's no longer a 9C3 and all of the cars are now sold exclusively for patrol duty (I.E. marked units). But it's just a guess at best....

Re: Caprice sales figures
December 2014 numbers are in, 288 units sold during the month. Weird that the number is the exact same figure as November, but I guess it can happen. Still dismal numbers at best.....

Re: TPMS woes
That's interesting on the pressures. There's a call-out in the 2011 PPV owner's manual that states the following (page 10-53): When not driving at continuous high speeds or with up to three occupants and 45 kg (100 lbs) of cargo, adjust the front and rear cold tire inflation pressure to 36 psi (250 ...

Re: TPMS woes
Well, I had a TPMS go bad on my left front last week. The symptoms were very erratic pressure readings (from zero to 99 PSI) in a few minutes over and over again. My TPMS screen finally bonged like six times and displayed "Tire Fault" and self-disabled the whole system. I did have a chance...

Re: Drive by wire poor throttle response
Actually the best person to answer this question is Chris Henry since he tunes these cars & is a forum member, I'll see if I can give him a nudge to weigh in on this topic. I know in HP Tuners that there are a number of settings (such as adjusting the Torque Management settings) which will defin...

Re: 9c3 Bad fuel mileage?
Still.... something doesn't pass the sniff test with this car. It has to be the lowest MPG car on the forum. At a minimum, since this is an unmolested recent purchase the dealer's service department should go through the engine and make sure all is up to factory spec for nothing else then customer s...

Re: 9c3 Bad fuel mileage?
It would be interesting to flash another program into the car's PCM to see if the problem continues or goes away with the re-flash. Does the car still have the bumper-to-bumper on it? I know Powertrain warranty is in effect until 100K, but it might be easier to get a dealer to play though on a drive...

Re: 9c3 Bad fuel mileage?
Have you tried a compare to the actual fuel economy obtained on a miles travelled/gallons used from your last fill-up? I think my range indication starts out low as well... but it does change based on your driving habits during the tank you're using.
Thanks

If you ever find that memo scan a copy of it and send it to me. I'd love to have a copy of that one.....
