I got the 1 7/8" headers with 3" race-catted mid-pipe. From what I've read and seen, there is zero advantage to doing the 1 3/4" primary headers on anything bigger than a 5.3L.

Would you be willing to post the wiring modifications/pinout diagrams that you used? You obviously put some serious time and effort into doing it right. It would save some others from having to fight the same battles you've already won. Also, some of the GM part numbers you used might help some folk...
