Re: My 2012 ppv single turbo build

A question for undercvppv. What was your rev limit set at? And what diameter converter did you have on it when you spun the bearing. And are you guys blocking off the oil pressure relief valve in the pan after doing the DOD and cam swap? You really didn't have a lot of miles on it for spinning the b...

Re: Looking to buy wheels for my 2014 Caprice

Thanks Barry. I'm in the So. Cal. Area and I used New Year metal finishing in Santa Ana which was OK for the price around ($150 each). I wish they would of pressure tested it by putting a tire on it prior to powder coating them because I found two tiny pin holes in each of the wheels which had to be...

Re: Looking to buy wheels for my 2014 Caprice

I kept the stock 8" OEM Wheels on the front that had the 235/50/18" Tires or you can go to 255/45/18s on the stock 8" rims. I had my stock steelies widened 1-1/2" on the backside and 1/2" on the front side for a 10" wide wheel. But if you include the 1/2" rolled li...

Re: How to determine what head unit ( missing ) would work the sirens ( still in place)?

So you need a head unit? I just discovered the siren while replacing the A/C compressor. What if you just give it 12V ? Wouldn't that work?
Thanks guys

Re: Disabling Stabilitrak

I didn't have to pull a fuse, just hold the traction control button down for at least 5 seconds and it all turns off :D and its time to send those rear tires to Hell lol. But if you don't want to go sideways and out of control in a high speed turn than let the computer get you around that curve.

Re: 2014 CHEVY CAPRICE PPV AIR CONDITIONER NOT COLD

I just picked up a new GM compressor ($480) expansion valve a desiccant sock, O-rings. Pressure gauges tell me my compressor us tired after 97K on the clock. I'm gonna try to replace these components myself with the help of my retired mechanic who's back is to messed up but has the vacuum pump and A...

Re: Blend door actuators

Yes, good idea! I was to lazy or busy to change out a siezed up compressor on my other crap car (2015 Ford edge turbo) and paid a shop $1,450.00 to replace a $280 compressor (new not rebuilt) aftermarket unit. :o
