Not sure you want to take just any 12 volt source. I believe the feed from the BCM is a steady 12.0 volt source so the switches hath work on resistance can get a steady 12.0 volt reading no matter the vehicle voltage.

Yea seem to be seeing a pattern of all the AFM engines are getting ignored when it comes to tune detection. Unless they start doing things like Turning off monitor reporting and such. But a simple DOD turn off seems to get past the tune detection software on the CA smog machine.
