Re: Holden OE Mudflaps

Finally got mine on today. It’s only been 7 months, lol. There was a reason for my delay though. I wanted to take the Camaro wheels off and put the black steelies on for the winter since those wheels already have a nice set of Goodyear Ultra Grip M/S tires on them. The flaps fit well. I took Fudgeho...

Re: new guy looking for a v8 ppv

My 9C1 has a set of 2016 Camaro wheels on it, but at least 6 holes in the body for the old radio antennas and push bumper. There have been zero leaks. I should know as I live in the Pacific Northwest. It rains here a LOT at certain times of the year. Additionally it looks really nice thanks to the p...

Re: DOD Delete and LS9 Cam from Texas Speed 2012 PPV

Thanks for posting the paperwork. It’s nice to know exactly whats going on with the repair/build and cost. I am going to try to beat the dreaded DOD/AFM failure before it happens, but want to save the money first to pay cash for the upgrade and premptive fix. My 9C1 has 119,000 on it but is in very ...

Re: 2013 Camaro TPMS sensors on 2012 caprice? Can they be u

Thanks...

This issue was confusing as there are a plethora of sensors and some places I looked at said the Camaro used 315MHz and others said 433MHz.

No longer confusing. I appreciate it!

Re: 2013 Camaro TPMS sensors on 2012 caprice? Can they be u

Rather than start a new topic...

My 2012 PPV has 2016 Camaro wheels on it, minus the TPMS sensors.

So which sensors do I buy? Do factory or aftermarket Caprice TPMS sensors fit the Camaro wheels?

Re: Drag race tips (questions)

Own question answered after a second search here on NewCaprice. There were so many hits on my first E85 search query, I just missed this gem of a link posted by xcidmigs back in 2015– http://www.newcaprice.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2036&hilit=Michigan+test" onclick="window.open...

Re: Drag race tips (questions)

Regarding SSpeedracer‘s tip of running a couple tanks of E85 for a more aggressive tune... Researching this angle made my head spin. On boosted motors there is a plain and simple HUGE gain in horsepower on dynos according to every single thing out there. On both boosted motors and NA engines there i...

Re: Headrest Removal? Rear door locks?

Gene is probably right about the rear doors not opening because of the 'Child Safety Lock'. It is a manual switch, at least on a ‘12. When I bought my car the right rear door would not open from the inside. It even perplexed the guy I was buying it from when I went to look at it, he said ‘hmmm, it W...

Re: Black bow tie emblem for front grille...

I could not find a black one either so I popped mine off and carefully masked all the chrome on it with Frog tape. Then I Plasti-dipped all the gold with black. Thats in case I didn’t like it I could just peel it off. It came out pretty nice so when the Plasti-dip starts going bad I’ll peel it off t...

Drag race tips (questions)

I am an old guy and have not drag raced anything modern. Really have not raced since the 1970’s and then mostly on pumped up 900/1000cc Kawasakis. Sometimes a manual transmission car (1969 Dodge Dart with a 340 Six Pack I built and put in there). My question is this. Leave traction control on? Or pu...
