It's in!!!! Setup: I have 2" primaries ARH Headers coated, their 3" high flow cats, and X-pipe for a Chevy SS. (Note their kit is 3" to the midpipes then necks down to 2.5" where it bends out to clear the diff and turns outward.) Then I am using a Magnaflow 12469 dual in/out muf...

Here is where I had to grind the cover to get clearance to fit inside the mount. I have the same cover. I also had to grind the left adjuster bolt down to the nut as it was hitting the cradle. Are you sure that's all you need to grind off of the case? I had to go a little deeper to make sure it was...

You'll be fine. Don't worry about it. The factory ride height is way too high anyway. People add LSAs, turbos, and centrifugal superchargers all the time and it's never a problem.

Channel? No, they are made of teeny tiny square tubing. If they are made of channel, then they are an even worse design than they already appear to be. All the pics are from the bottom, so you can't see the top side of the square tubing. Post up a pic of the top side of the connectors so we can see ...

I went to one of these fall rentals two years ago. They're good events and you can make a ton of passes. There may be a semi-organized race near the end, so get your runs in early.
