Re: Standard PPV Wheels: Exact Specs?

Before the Metric "revolution, most GM automobile wheel studs were 7/16". When the 1980 Chevy Citation (X-car) came to market, it was one of the first GM cars to use 12mm - specifically M12x1.5 - wheel studs. I'm not sure about the earlier Chevette, but few if any US/NA GM cars were metric...

Re: Standard PPV Wheels: Exact Specs?

bolt circle: 120mm stud size: 14mm offset: +38mm - backspacing can be useful, and aftermarket tends to speak in terms of backspace instead of offset...although OEM's typically deal in OFFSET dimensions. Re: Interesting thread over on the G8 Board

All true....I've been lagging on my (intended) initial brake discussion topic. Eric, is this discussion taking place in G8 land because those guys want to look at a larger diameter rotor setup for G8 GT without the expense of going to the GXP Brembo package? Fleets like single-piston disc brakes - c...

non-fog light bezels with chrome trim

I was looking at pictures of "poverty" Commodores, as C.P. calls them (Omega, Berlina, and Equipe') and noticed that the 2012 version offered a "plain" version of the dressy fog lamp trim many of us are using. So I wrote to C.P.--this is for those who want something a little dres...

Bob, other than the tips, are the CapriceV mufflers at all different from the PPV mufflers?

Re: 2013 Camaro SS Wheels

Can you please post some photos of the SS wheel showing a side view, to see how much the spokes are concave(d) (is that a word?) into the center or just how flat/flush the spokes are. Any photos on a car would be appreciated, too. Don't want to do black, so please let us know if you do get some silv...
