Re: SS Rear Seats??
G8 seats are not a direct fit for 2014-2017 cars. I would be willing to bet a PF48 oil filter that the SS seats are a direct drop in to 2014-2017 cars but I don't know for sure as I've never tried an SS seat. There was only minor differences between the lower seat cushion of the 11-13 and 14-17 cars...

Re: Grille
On mine I scuffed the chrome surround and painted it. Then I removed the bowtie and separated the gold from the chrome outline. (Held together by adhesive) then I plastidipped the chrome part red and the gold part black. I glued them back together and re installed on the grill. Looks really good and...

Re: Octane
My best is 13.60 @ 105, Sometime in April I'm gonna run a few tanks of E85 and see what I get at the track (Not the pump which I know will be much much worse)

Re: Octane
I have run my car and the track with both 87 and 93 in the tank. There is a difference in both seat of the pants and times/trap speeds. My 1994 9C1 was also this way but not quite as dramatic. The wife's LS2 GTO even has preminum fuel sticker right on the inside of the fuel door and just like the ca...

Re: Can bus gauges
After looking at the link I realized I had installed different ones. The ones I did were digital readout and could show all kinds of things, many of which you used to have a scan tool to read.

Re: Can bus gauges
I helped a friend install some similar style gauges from Maryland speed in a 2013 Camaro 1LE. They work really well. They are worth it in my opinion just to get the trans temp read out for proper checking and filling of the transmission. Back then they did not yet make a gauge pod (A pillar) for the...

Re: fun day yesterday
Yeah that's my number one annoyance with a car like this but I knew what I was getting into. I love how people come charging up like a freight train in the lane to your left and then slam on the brakes and continue to drive in your blind spot for miles. It's like come dude, slow down and get behind ...
