Re: 2014 XTS wheels

Heh, ok. On a truck, it's not so noticeable. I think we have RSAs on the Caprice now, and I do notice some road noise, but was chalking that up to the strut-type suspension and lack of carpet in the car.

Re: 2014 XTS wheels

Don't know why folks bad mouth the RSA's so much. Maybe it's a lack of traction, but I found them quite fun for throwing the back end of our Dakota R/T around in tight, slow corners at autocross events. Angered a fair number of Mustang drivers in ESP with an otherwise stock truck.

That one came with a 360? Hopefully you dropped a proper K-member in it and went with a 400!!

Re: Caprice PPV for Cannonball...??

Ah, confusion between the Z and SS. Got it. I did see someone's RS wheels on a Caprice, and like them over any Camaro SS wheel.

Re: rotofab cai 2014 SS

Yep, the high-pitched hum of the belt will cover the intake noise. I like that sound, too. It's almost as nice a turbine whine.

Re: Caprice PPV for Cannonball...??

I thought the Z28 had 20" wheels, while the RS came with the 19" ones? Or are the 20" wheels an option for the Z?

Re: rotofab cai 2014 SS

I actually kind of like the 'whoosh' sound of the CAIs on our 95-96 B-bodys. Our 95 DGGM SS has a RamIT Ram Air system, and the 96 SS has the TeamSS intake.

Hopefully you can hear some of it from under the front bumper cover on the Caprice.

Cool. How are you going to make the connection between the front bits and the back bits?
