Snow Tires from Crown Vic
My Crown Vic is gone but I have some leftover 17" snow tires with studs. I don't know that the Caprice can even utilize a 17" tire, but figured I'd give it a shot. Size is 225/60/17, and they are General Altimax Arctic, studded. MFG date looks to be 1616, and I have about 4 seasons on them...

Clean! Some PBM G8 handles would go well with it

Re: Low buck exhaust. Drone at 2k
I'm gonna echo what CapriceX2 asked... if the tips are behind the rear bumper now, then my goodness extend them out. When I put my G8 system on before having the shop extend the tips, it felt like someone was holding a subwoofer right up to my brain. Some of the magnaflow systems are what you descri...

Re: New Owner
Did you guys have issues getting the car insured? Progressive doesn't want to insure it because they say it's a police vehicle I insured mine with Progressive, had zero issue. I also had a 2008 CVPI insured, and police is in the name of the damn car. They don't WANT to, or they CAN'T? Side note, he...

Re: Console swap what else do I need?
You are. I ordered 4 new ones from Tasca parts... there is a chance that they might list the thread size there, or 7zap (not sure if it exists anymore) used to have AWESOME schematics that would also list thread sizes. Lemme see what I can find.

I believe that's the one you're looking for. I ran into the same issue at first not being able to find the "right" one.

Re: G8 console swap~ need center support and shifter bezel
Nice! I think 3D printing will be somewhat of a saving grace for these hard to find/NLA parts.
Great... now my wife will shoot me when I say in a few years, "Hey it's time for another Caprice, but it's ok the parts are 3D printed and it will be easy to acquire them this time!"
