Re: Replacing Struts/Springs 2013 PPV

Only thing I would add on is new front strut mounts, depending on age and condition. Bearings are cheap insurance since they are cheap and may even come apart when you tear into everything anyhow. Pursuit, xcidmigs, and I'm sure many others I'm not thinking of have done a setup similar to yours (may...

Re: Learning New Key

Thanks for the reply.

The dealer is actually doing the key recall, maybe I'll just bring in the remotes to have them match them up since they will already have new blades.

EDIT: forget that idea.

Re: G8 headers and cutouts

Nice. Had pacesetter coated things on my Formula. Great budget header, I would absolutely buy them again. If you want to get cats to stay, that could get tricky mostly due to space considerations, but if off-road, I think it won't be too bad. Cutouts right before axle back bends or right after heade...

Re: G8 headers and cutouts

Worried in what regard?

Keep as much of stock exhaust as in keep your axle back mufflers or keep as much of the stock crossover section?

H-pipe and cutouts would sound nice I'd think.

Learning New Key

When I bought my car, it had no remote, just plain old keys, no buttons, nothing. I have two of them. Do I need a new "master key" to add a key with remote to the car? Car does not have remote start, though I would like to add in the future. Could I just buy this and use with an existing k...

Re: New Paint!

Nice. LED bulbs or the full on LED tails from AUS?

Man makes me wish we weren't heading into winter so I could do a few more things to the car before weather dive bombs

Re: snow tires

Can't help with the wheels but I have some General Altimax Arctic on my Crown Vic and put them on my wife's car. I went thin, 225, and have had incredible success thus far. If I were to put snows on the Caprice I would absolutely go with them again. And as stated, 5x120 is what you'll want. I believ...
