Do you have the rpo code for it? Is your check engine light on? It will do as described if your light is on or the hood is open. If the light is not on then I’d start by inspecting the hood latch wiring. It runs to a bulk head connector on the passenger side of the radiator support behind the bumper...

I’ve seen the gto tube used on g8’s before. They do not have all the baffling. You can also buy some silicone couplers and a 4” 90* tube (you’ll need a bit more angle out of one of the couplers). You need a better tuner. That’s a baby cam and should work just fine with a stock converter.

I have a black bear tune and 3.27 rear diff. I actually drove mine prior to the tube being changed and never had any lights about traction control or anything.

It’s in the owners manual. I believe pushing it once allows some wheel spin and holding it down turns off stabilitrac and traction control fully unless it’s a 2011. Mine will spin a bit even with tc on and then will spin quite a lot with it off. Rarely hold the button down to fully turn it off unles...
