Re: Holden LED tail lights
Yes mine flashed fast as well. I just mounted load resistor on the brake turn circuit of each light and that fixed the problem. $5 on amazon. one end goes on the turn wire (I think was red) and the other to a good earth. http://www.amazon.com/Resistors-Signal-License-Warning-Cancellor/dp/B004EDF8HY/...

Holden LED tail lights
well I finally had a chance to fit the Holden LED tail lights I got from Australia. the plugs are different so I had to cut the chevy plugs off and solder them onto the holden lights. the only difference is the Holden lights use an amber bulb for turn signal which is located beside the reverse light...

Re: G8 seats
Wigid, How did you remove the heated seat wire loom? It looks like part of it is goes through the black plastic tube, but in your pics the tube looks still intact. I just cut the tube with a box cutter down the length of the tube and slid the wires out. when I was finished I just wrapped the tube i...

Re: G8 seats
Thanks, Wigid, I can understand. I recently did a re-upholstery job on our SVO, and am really NOT interested in replacing the fabric. That, and the seats in our car aren't in that bad a shape. I was just wondering if the seat rack replacement was a plug-and-play job, as I'd be interested in that. I...

Re: G8 seats
OUTSTANDING! It CAN be done! tell me where you're located--as much as I'd probably be OK to do it myself, I'd really hope to have the expertise you've shown to do the swap on mine. I've had a set of G8 seats for a couple of years, just waiting for this revelation! I am in Nashville Tennessee. It is...

Re: Pontiac G8 carpet in Caprice PPV
the section behind the center console and the rear seat is the problem then. I was going to buy another G8 carpet and cut the rear section out and overlay it but this does not look too badIDLife Caprice wrote:Why not make the cut just under the front seats, and extend it back as needed?

Re: flush mount LEDs to fill pushbar holes
I have a company Eight Emergency Vehicle Products http://www.8evp.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; that sells thin flush mount warning lights that have a cruise mode. so you have a wire that will make the lights flash and another with a steady burn feature that can act a...

Re: Pontiac G8 carpet in Caprice PPV
all the seat mounts and everything lined up perfectly except for the rear seatCrashTestDummy wrote:Nice, and nice option. A small section of black automotive carpet could cover those holes and look just fine.
Did you fit the oval holes at the rear of the carpet over the front rear seat sockets in the body?
