Re: LFX Elite catch can on Caprice
I have to dig up the receipt. I ordered the E2 model for the 2011+ Camaro V6 LFX on there website. The bracket that came with it which is for the camaro, attach under the posts that hold the engine cover in place. The Caprice doesn't have an engine cover/sight shield so I just emailed them that the ...

Re: New Owner
Welcome! You could just install a new windshield garnish molding to not have that interior hole from the spotlight. I think I'm the only owner on this board that bought a never in service, pre-production/pilot 2014 PPV w/ 1000 miles without a spotlight and installed one. I just love the look of them...

Re: Z26 Street Power Rotors/Pads
I just actually purchased this kit for my Caprice after going back and forth for awhile on which pads/rotors to go with that were as good or better then the OEM setup without spending too much. I found reviews across the web to be mostly very high. They are enroute to me as I write this so I can't g...

Holden GM hoodliner Installed
I know I've read about a OEM Holden hood insulator/liner all over the site and it never really seemed obtainable. I was able to get one from original parts group in Australia which has a bunch of really good parts for the Caprice. Keel in mind the prices on the site are in AU currency. I was origina...

Radiator cover plastic molding
I've been looking on original parts groups Australia website because they have alot of nice products for WM/WN Caprice/Statemans including a really nice radiator cover that goes over the radiator and front radiator support bar going across the front of the hood. I'm wondering if anyone has used or g...

Re: Thanks to you all!
Looks really good and cleanly done. An equipment console really finishes the center section nicely! I have a Jotto desk Caprice specific console that I need to install with goodies. My daughter turned 6 months yesterday so just need to find a day with enough time and commit to it. Very nice ride..

Re: Automatic unlock/lock with drivers door keylock
Thought I'd post just in case someone else was having an issue. It's all working now and turned out to be the drivers door wiring harness had been repinned by whoever had the car before I did. It only had 1300 miles and mint so I didnt think this would be an issue-WRONG! The drivers door speaker, si...

Re: Passenger Seat Air Bag troubles
Yes that's the reason the airbag light is on. If it's a harness connector I would just cut out the smashed connector and solder in some small sections of gxl or rated automotive electrical wire to make up for the length the connector added and call it a day. You can also use crimp connectors of good...

Re: Size of hole in roof for rooftop lightbar?
If it was a lightbar hole upfitters will just drill a 1 inch hole, install a rubber 1 inch thin wall grommet and run the wire bundle through the hole and silicone it .
