Re: Another new Socal Caprice owner
Welcome aboard. Ive had no luck finding E85 for less than 75% cost of 91 octane as of november. Not willing to pay "premium" for E85 despite running better.

Re: Have not tried E85 yet
E85 drops my mpg to 75% of what I get with Premium 91. However, the E85 costs 70% of the cheapest Premium available. I always use E85 for daily commute, only filling premium on long trips when E85 is not available. The car runs noticably better with E85. Oddly, i was getting an evap tank vacuum code...

Re: New (to me) wheels and new tires
xten57 probably has stock size camaro 245/55-18 that came with the wheels. That size will absolutely interfere with the fender under compression both front and rear. If he keeps the stock stiff suspension he may never see full compression. But, I wouldn't risk it because the rears might get cut open...

Re: Made a huge mistake
I got the smaller diameter that barely covered the hole because I wanted it less pronounced. One kept popping off when I closed the door due to air pressure. Used some glue underneath no problem. The other 6 held and I used the crescent shaped one over the spotlight hole.

Re: Daily Driven Cam Choice
I picked up a used LS3 cam and springs that had 35k miles for $100. Very happy with the result because this is my daily driver. DOD delete and rocker trunions. I didn't want to spend too much time tuning, or pay a tuner, so I uploaded a stock SS tune and smoothed it out. Good enough. LIke an LS3 min...

Re: Hitting my breaking point - driver's seat help
http://www.newcaprice.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3266&p=25216#p25216 Seems familiar. I have since swapped in SS seats and a better lumbar support. No discomfort at all. From my post linked above, biggest improvement was a lumbar pad. Also, I removed the headrest and bent the two steel bea...

Test it with a voltmeter.
