Re: The G8 console swap.
To display on the dash will require the instrument cluster to be reprogrammed according to a 9C3 specs, but there is an easy solution if you need to see what gear you are in using the android Torque app and a custom pid to show on your phone. I just tried it, and it works well with my car. Works in ...

Re: Daytime lights/Running lights don't turn on/don't exist
Daytime Running lights are something that can be configured when programing the BCM. Not sure what cars have it or not, but it is select able in https://tis2web.service.gm.com/tis2web/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and different options will give you a different lighting a...

Decent price on complete Flip keys. $40/pair
I ordered a pair of Flip Keys for my car recently, and I was finally able to get them cut. They work great. I don't have a factory flip key to compare it to, but I'm more than happy with them. Site I used was remotesremotes.com. On their site, I looked up G8 keys. Here is a link to the pair I ordere...

Re: P0158 O2 Bank 2 troubleshooting

P0158 O2 Bank 2 troubleshooting
Hey guys, the check engine light is on and I have code P0158 set. I changed the drivers side O2 after the cat and it is still there. Doesn't seem to be any leaks in the pipe, and the front O2 seems to report as it should. With the key on, engine on or off, O2 bank 2 reports 1.3v. Would that be a gro...

Re: Alldatadiy vs Helm manuals?
At $14.95/yr (search for a coupon) Alldatadiy is great. It has plenty of diagrams and instructions. It was a somewhat abridged version of the factory online manuals available from AC Delco (https://www.acdelcotds.com/acdelco/action/subscribehome" onclick="window.open(this.href);return fals...

Re: Tap Shift for a 9C1 with a G8 Shifter
Bump to this old thread. I'm in the process of installing a g8 shifter and would like to enable sport and tutd on the g8 shifter. Aside from having chris program the Bcm. What are the wiring details? I see from another thread is says pin 1 on the shifter goes to pin 17 on the Bcm . Then pin 4 on th...

Re: G8 center with shifter and Tap up tap down shift
No special programing is needed
Great to hear the TUTD works with just wiring it up!
Install looks great. I really like the cubby box you are making. I really need one of those for my car.

Re: pins for shifter and bcm connectors
You're probably right about the pin numbers, but I had nothing in one (x20 I guess) and something in the other (x17) but I took the pin in x17 out and ran the wires from the shifter Would leaving out the x17 pin make it not show on the display? I haven't tried cruise control since the install do I ...
