You can buy new handles for G8, of course, or CP can provide them in correct color. Either will cost more than you may want to spend. Try looking for a dismantling yard that has G8's and grab a pair of handles--they aren't a big demand item. I got a pair from Cleveland Pick-A-Part from a G8....obvio...

I was able to get the Impala handles today. The distance between the mounting holes is about 5.5". The handles are held in place by two 7mm bolts that screw into a u-shaped metal clip. The u clip slips on to a hole in the metal frame. I guess the next step is to move the headliner down to see ...

OK, what changes? Is the pipe up to the axle-back flange(s) larger?

Is the total system weight less?

Do you have any pictures of the 2 versions laying on the shop floor to show the difference?
