Re: Requested upgrades to feature sets for the Caprice

So to get these mods we have to pull the cars computer and send it to him? Correct. This actually has quite a few benefits, the first one being cost. Since I don't have to sit around and develop remote hardware and software to do this I can keep the cost down. Secondly its a controlled environment ...

I do have a copy of the file used to update my IQ unit at the dealership... update had to be done with the USB flash drive plugged into the USB port, and the install was controlled through the Tech 2. Re: Requested upgrades to feature sets for the Caprice

Sweet! Chris, you rock! Eric, I'm already getting information on the IC chips and processors in the IQ unit you sent me... will let you know when/if I find out anything good regarding bluetooth. I do know that the USB "port" for flashing the unit can probably be enabled for audio files......

Re: Requested upgrades to feature sets for the Caprice

Re: Remote Start for PPV's without it

Re: Remote Start for PPV's without it

So is that all it will take? I have a buddy who was going to give gm tac a call when he gets back to work but hes laid up right now. If gm isnt willing to help, what would it cost for a bcm that will let me tap shift? As long as the TCM still has the setups to accept it (which I believe it should) ...
