Considering a set for a change. 12164

FYI, Just found out that special lugs are needed for caps to affix to, guess I wound need them too?

Yes. GM part number is 9597846. The online GM parts sites have them $6 & up. Autozone has Dorman replacements for $2. You decide. :)

that part # is for small caps , the large hub caps require lug nuts with the screw top , which the hub caps lug covers screw onto , to hold them on

ive got a set of large caps , they are sun bleeched from sitting on the lot for 3 years in FL , 120 + shipping , you would still need the screw top lug nuts

Ooops, I wrote the wrong number, correct one is 9595175. My full covers are all peeled. Contemplating refinishing or just sell as is if and when I ever get around to getting the Holden wheels mounted.

Contemplating refinishing or just sell as is if and when I ever get around to getting the Holden wheels mounted.
If you decide to get rid of your old covers, I might be interested in them. I bead blasted a set of covers and painted them with some Krylon metallic paint that is suitable for plastic. They look dramatically better and so for they are holding up good, but time will tell.
