Reflash/program/setting change questions
Just looking for input from you guys at what can be done with Tech2 and other dealership equipment. I just had the tire pressure threshold set lower in my car and I'm curious as to what else can be improved on our cars with the Tech2 through dealer equipment. Hoping to get most of the common features that can be reset or improved with dealer equipment on one topic thread. I'm pretty clueless at this point so far as to what features I do/don't have that may be available. Thanks in advance guys for any input. Just trying to learn more about this Frankenstein machine I just bought.

I haven't had a chance to play around with my Tech 2 in my '11 yet except to scan for codes. I can't do any reflashing because tis2000 only goes to 2009 so if I did need to do any reflashing, I would need to get a subscription at ACDelco. The Tech 2 would be used as a passthrough for the programming. I don't need to reflash anything right now.
I'd have to have a good sit down with it to see what I can do. One thing I am expecting to be able to do is change tire size.

Do you have a Tech 2, and want to know what the machine will allow you to do, or do you plan to take your car to the Dealership to have them use their Tech 2 to do programming? I am interested in this as-well.
VW has an aftermarket scan tool, VAG-COM (yes you read that right), and it allows you to recode modules for different functionalities. Now, if you dont know or just "lollygagging" around in the modules, some serious damage could be done.
