That's right. Can also do a few other improvements like turn off torque management, better shifts and so on. I don't know of anybody that do mail order tunes on these but maybe a local tuner can do a quick tune or, if you want to splurge, do a dyno tune but it may not be worth it with a totally stock engine.

As mooseman said earlier, if you really can't stand the sound and you want to disable DOD right now, disconnect the vacuum sensor on the brake booster. Zero downside apart from a permanent CEL but it's been great for me until I can get a good tune done.
