Here is the link. I have not fitted them yet to see if they'll work without massaging them, but they're going on my car one way or another.

Those headers actually don't look all that bad. They are much more equal length than my Kooks, which vary 10-12" between primaries. That is total BS in my opinion, especially since there is plenty of room to make them equal length. Hopefully they don't need too much modification to fit the Caprice.

Here is the report on the $250 Camaro headers. First off, the overall quality is top notch. All welds are neat and I saw no major flaws. We'll start with the driver's side. I came up against fitment issues almost immediately. I found myself resorting to violence to make the number one primary cooperate with the engine mount and the oil cooler (which actually ended up not being as big an issue as I thought it would be).

On the other side of the header, the number three primary was contacting the steering shaft.

The passenger side didn't pose quite so many issues, but I did end up fighting the transmission lines and the motor mount. I actually almost cut a section out (with the intent of re-welding) of the number two primary to accommodate the amount of space that was taken up by the transmission lines, which ran around the engine mount in the exact-wrong place. But I ended up using tie down straps to bend the lines out of the way, which meant that beating it with the hammer would clearance it enough to go around the motor mount.

I worked straight through until dark to get the car back together, so I didn't get any shots of the completed product. I'll be climbing back under the car tomorrow to weld up a couple of exhaust hangers and I'll get some shots of how it all turned out. I'm not sure what a kooks set of headers and cats would have cost, but I've got about $350 into the new headers and cats. I definitely ended up having to work for the money that I saved, but considering the fact that the difference between my setup and the kooks setup is roughly $1,000, I consider it time and money well spent. And if anyone thinks that I beat the crap out my headers, you're right. But I don't feel too bad about it after watching this...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azPKIjxmmdU

What are you talking about? They fit perfect....after 15 test fits and a few severe beatings

Also, I forgot to mention that three of the O2 sensors fit perfectly, but the drivers side upstream sensor did have to be lengthened.

It looks like they hang down quite a bit lower than Kooks. Can you take a photo from the side of the car with the camera slightly below the bottom of the rocker?

Yes, I'll post up some photos when I get out to weld up the last two exhaust hangers.

only severe beatings  they must fit like OJ's glove

the driver side front o2 is always the one that needs some length to it

Here are a few different views in regards to how low the headers hang.

Just one more note if anyone goes the low price/ high labor route. The steering shaft moves side to side a little as it rotates. Be sure to provide enough clearance for the shaft in all steering positions. Good luck.
