3" cat back straight pipes with an X. Videos!

Post by 12ppv »

So I love the way 3" pipes sound and like my cars loud, so after putting the lowering springs and camaro diff I was finally ready to hit the exhauast shop. At first I left all 4 cats on my 2012 and it sounded REALLY good, but just too quiet for me personally. For most members here I would %100 suggest this route, they charged me $800 for this. I immediately wanted it louder tho so I removed the 2 cats that are after the o2 sensors as well and replaced it with some more 3" piping. I have to admit I love the sound and would recommend it to anyone who likes there cars a litle loud. I dont plan on doing headers on this car because i want one car i dont have to be scared every time CHP pulls me over lol. Ill post 2 videos, the first will be with all 4 cats, and the second with only the 2 main cats. i will probably end up hollowing out the 2 after the o2 sensors and putting them back on, just to pas the visual aspect of california smog and keep the police here happy.

Couldnt agree more. I just did the same on my 2013. I have the factory cats off the manifold. I recycled a vette mid H pipe. Eliminated the post O2 sensor cats and muffler. I kept the inline resonators. In the back i have the Solo axle backs. The sounds is awesome. There in 0 drone. I did turn off the DOD/AFM.
