Anyway we can get a pic of how the exhaust hangs under the car while its on the ground, like put the camera down very low to ground?
The best I could do between dinner and dessert...

The Camaro parts are right at 2". The PPV chokes down to less than 1-7/8". And those headers tuck in there nice!

Agree, I was surprised at how well it fit considering some of the installations I've seen which appear to hang low. Some have claimed they had to space out the "cross brace" or delete it. I'm not sure if it's because the kit is designed for a 2014 SS which essentially has the same chassis as the 2014 PPV or if I took extra care to tuck it up before tightening the clamps.

I've driven it quite aggressively already and no issues with the pipes hitting the chassis. I'm happy with the fit.

just make sure you crawl under it soon and double check all the clamps are tight

i usually check the first few heat cycles for a few days , then after a week , ive seen them work loose , and that is usually where the hitting comes in , also some dont get it right the first time

UPDATE:

After doing some WOT tuning this weekend the mid-pipe would sometimes barely touch the cross brace and buzz for a split second. This really only occurred when letting off and then immediately on the throttle when at full engine load.

The mid pipe is already tucked up as far as I would like. I decided to go to the local Ace hardware and pick up 3/8 steel spacers and longer flanged bolts of the same 10.9 grade to space out the cross brace a tad.

Now there is plenty of clearance and no rub whatsoever.

Heh, time to find some polyurethane engine mounts!!

Nice solution. I'll be keeping that in mind when I throw my exhaust system under our '12.

Should have painted that cross brace! ;)

LOL. A loud car I don't mind; a vibrating car I do.

I thought of painting it but I'd rather drive than watch paint dry. Also for the effort and a $10 rattle can, I'd rather spend an extra $45 for a BMR brace and look all race-boy like ;) BMR is about 30 minutes from my house.
