Since there wasnt anything to mount it to, i drilled 2 holes in the radiator support and bolted a couple of strips on metal to it. There are weird shapes right where the screw holes for the intake are, i had to grind the strips down and put them on angles, made locating the holes for the intake hard but i was able to drill them oversize and use the speed clips to bolt it in. The strips were low, so i used a couoke of o rings to hold the intake up, thats why the middle is slightly higher. The drivers side of the radiator support had the most bumps near the intake screw hole, so i didnt even bother. 2/3 aint bad lol

be careful in the rain with these intakes !!!

with in the past few weeks ive seen someone post about losing their motor , the water gets in and puddles inside and only has one place to go inside your throttle body

Weather calls for 100% rain tomorrow. Im going to tape up the grill opening nascar style till i can make something to prevent it from puddling.

Performance update!
First, the induction sound aint a joke lmfao
I posted in General Discussion about my track times. I ran my fastest times yet at the track.
Previous: 9.05, Friday: 8.97
I was spinning super hard, average 60ft was .04 slower!! If i take my 60ft times out, on a 3 run average, it was .1 less and 1.3mph faster. There is definitely more...

Butt dyno says throttle response is better. From 1200-2700 feels slower, but everything above 3k is better.

Just to follow up the rain concern

I was going into town and it was sprinkling about the last mile i was on the highway going 80. Pulled into the store, checked out the intake and it wasnt even wet. I taped the opening from the sides of the bowtie up,,, Went to work and it rained all night. Popped the hood, couldnt see any of the intake plastic wet,,, Drove home 2 or 3 miles, 50 for 1 mile, then 40 for a mile, then 25 thru town with the normal street puddles. Popped the hood agn, and was still dry.

It would appear that the CAI did cut .12 off my ET. I even lowered my 60ft so it didnt lose any power below 3k. On the way back the first time at 65, the car started running rough. There was some wierd "miss match" like that 1 episode of Engine masters. It was from the 4 cylinder mode. It did on the way back couple weeks ago too but once i put the AFM disabler in it smoothed out. I think its worth noting that this intake is recommended to use with 98 octane lol so no more mid grade between off race weekends
