Tariq,
System looks good! What system/application after the headers did you use? Did you have to add extensions under the body to the system?

Just as an FYI, my exhaust consists of Kooks G8 1 7/8" coated headers, you do have to lose the oil cooler, and assorted Kooks G8 components, Kooks high flow cats, Kooks 3" X-pipe, then the flanged part of the Kooks tailpipes, going to the stock axle back mufflers, were cut, and welded into the stock tailpipes, with the stock mufflers.

The exhaust is very quiet, almost stock sounding. Result though, 500 at the wheels, and pretty fast.

I have been researching some new axle backs, for just a little more sound. I'm not having much luck. May eventually go with some Solo's, for a little more sound!

My friend our Caprice not equipped with oil cooler
So we can fit it directly

If you want very good mufflers with remote control that makes you
Control the sound just go with
X-Force Varex mufflers
Direct Fit + Sound Control
(http://www.xforce.com.au/about-varex-re ... uffler.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

This is one of my friend install it on his own Caprice
(Here the mufflers are open)

If it's close, it will be as a stock sound ;)

I've already been round and round with Xforce. They do not make a direct fit axle back, with the Varex mufflers. I could buy the entire system, but that's not what I want to install or pay.

Xforce makes a resonator that fits the Statesman, but they claim it won't fit the Caprice. They aren't the easiest people to deal with. :x

The USA isn't a big enough market for them, I guess. Not enough of us to make it worth their while.

Yes they are very hard to deal with, And they make a direct fit axle-back
I'm sure because many of my friends just install an axel-back

Image
but it's very expensive (1000$)

BTW statesman and caprice are the same care
the different only with accessories

Yes, I know they are the same car. And the axle backs you are picturing, will be too short for the Caprice PPV.
