Xforce resonators

Post by leadfart »

I got my Xforce resonators in from OZ today! Just hope they won't be too loud!! I'll spray the bolts down, and hopefully they will come right out. These resonators have some adjustability built into them. Should be an easy bolt-on, but I've heard that before.

I have a picture, but the size is apparently too large to load - it's "invalid" when I tried to bring it into this thread.

I can send it to you via e-mail. Contact me (with your e-address) and I'll respond.

The vendor I bought from sold another set of these to someone in Michigan. I guess they aren't on here. :o

These look nice. I like the adjustable fitting. The "true duals" will probably sound louder than a single exit into a dual tip.

They are different from the style I have that I have not put on the car, yet.

These are 2.5 outlet pipes, that go with a complete system Xforce sells, but the flanges have elongated mounting holes, that allow for bolting on to the factory tail pipes. They are basically a resonator. Should sound real racey, with the high flow cats, x-pipe, and blower. 8-)

They are on the car. They do indeed fit. I have some minor tweaking on the right side tips to do, but all in all, very happy. Very noticeable difference in idle. I haven't done a test drive yet, bad weather, but I like what I'm hearing.

This would be an excellent mod for a stock PPV exhaust. Plus, once you do it once, it's an easy twenty minute job to swap back to your other mufflers.

I seem to always have spare mufflers and tires around! 8-)
