Bob, can you give us a full rundown on what the rest of your exhaust system consists of? Is any part of the stock system still on the car (ie. 2.25" pipe)?

Headers - Kooks(?)
Cats being used?
Crossover/X-pipe?
Mid-pipes (after OE cats) - stock (with mid-muffler - 2-pipes in/2-pipes out) and small resonators, or is it a modified G8 aftermarket part (Kooks?) with no resonator/mid-muffler setup?

Pipe sizing?

Undercar pictures?

AFM - turned off or eliminated by cam change/parts removal?

Drone or resonance issues?

First test drive, awesome!!! Very little cabin noise at idle or part throttle crusing. Almost as quiet as stock. WOT like a cup car, very easy on my ears. 6-3 downshift in performance mode, with TC off, at 60, spins the tires.

One of the best mods I've ever done, besides the blower. I'll put up details later. Very happy, and I usually don't get giddy!!

Current exhaust consists of Kooks coated 1 7/8" G8 headers, Kooks G8 high flow cats, Kooks 3" x-pipe, OEM tailpipes, extended to mate with Kooks 3" x-pipe, and Xforce resonators. AFM is disabled and, no drone that I can really notice.

All and all, very pleased with the sound and, I believe I picked up a few ponies, too!

It wasn't cheap, but it wasn't crazy expensive, either. Had it in less than a week, from OZ.

I made a forty mile round trip to the bank today, and I was very pleased with the manners of the new exhaust. Mostly highway miles, with a few miles of stop and go. I really can't find much fault with it. I've had exhausts that droned, this one really doesn't bother me at all. It would probably be even less intrusive with a full OEM system ahead of it.

It gets my seal of approval!!

With all this resonator talk, I decided to put mine on:

95_9C1,

Do you still have these mufflers/resonators? Do you like them? What do they sound like? Where did you get them?

When I look on Xforce's website in both the USA and Australia, they only show support for the Commodore and the Manaro. On the USA site, they only show support for the Camaro. I love the way they look on your car. What a work of art!
