Dave, did you use a DOD delete kit, or have it turned off with the tune? Thanks.

I have only turned it off with the tune. I have everything for deleting the hardware and cam install but when I have had time to do the install, it has been unbearably hot! On Friday I'll have it back on the dyno to see what the headers did.
I'm not too happy with the IAT#'s being so hi. Would really like to see stock and OTR #'s

Sorry, the other Dave, SD Dave. But thank you for the info. How is the mileage with the DOD delete?

I'll try to throw the OBD scanner on the car this weekend to see how the IAC temps are stock.

City driving has been 14-15. I haven't had a chance to run a tank through it on the highway.

I'm tending toward a OTR, but will be putting that off for a while. I'd also like a header-to-tailpipe solution, but haven't found that yet.

Just turned it off with delete (DOD) also tuned it up so 91 octane better.....no more EB20 Planning on new cam and lifters etc. this fall with more dyno tuning then

Mileage seems about same.....quick checks 15 city. 20 highway.

Sound is great and big difference In performance

Yeah, we saw a performance gain with a CAI and tune on our Tahoe. I kept the AFM, though, as we can use all the mileage we can get with that one. I see instant mileage double when the truck goes from V8-V4 mode, which would be expected, but it's stunning to watch. Since this truck is one that doesn't gobble oil, I stayed with the AFM. If we have problems, I may disable, or install the delete kit, but am hoping that will never happen.

Got her back on the dyno yesterday. Made 331 Hp And 340 Tq. Afr was 13.0 after taking out some pe factor above 3K.
