Kooks 2014 SS system install on 2012 9c1

Here is a few pics. The parts are tagged from Kooks Right, Left and top. They are wrong! Maybe becaus it's a caprice but I don't an SS to varify. The header fit is fantastic and clears the oil cooler. System is tucked up tight and the only mods seem to be the factory muffler connection. I am working on it now and will post updates when I'm done.

Yep. Weather was good for working outside.

For the details.
Did not have to extend the pipes. I did however need to make a pipe from the so called factory connection to the factory muffler. The mounting lugs on the cats needed to be bent down a 1/2 " to suck the system up tight. The driver side pipes run about 1/16 from the frame. The driver o2 sensor wires need to be extended 4". All in all about 5 hours on a rack and a few brews.
My car came from Wisconsin and is a bit rusty for a 2012. I would recommend soaking the bolts with wd40 or the like before you start. One of the 15mm cat nuts rounded off and I had to hammer a cheap 12 point 9/16 to get it loose.
The sound is a bit louder than stock with that little header tic as the exhaust pulse hits the tube.
I'll take a video and post it up in a bit.

I'm considering the kooks headers vs Xforce and others. Can you tell me what the center to center is on the header outlets? It would be a big help.

Sorry about that. Not the prettiest welds but flux core mig is what it is.

Cool. So it's like a 1-1.5" extension? One could probably do that with band clamps, right?
