I know it's comparing apples to oranges. We have the Solo cat back system on our 2010 Challenger SRT. Factory headers, cats and mid pipes, Solo crossover muffler with Solo J-pipes. Nice mild rumble at idle yet really barks at high rpm. Not much drone at all the J-pipes work great. Note, the 6.1 Hemi does not have dod.

I had my exhaust shop use some Cherry Bomb Extreme mufflers, like this:

I was afraid of drone, but there wasn't any. It sounds good, with a noticeable improvement, but still pretty tame. The rest of the exhaust is stock. I selected some tips from what they had in stock, and I guess they're ok. Better than the half-rusty looking stockers I had.

I have a solo axle back exhaust.......it sounds great with AFM turned off a rotofab intake and some good dyno tuning......no drone and good sound.....throaty on start up and when you get on it but quiet comfortable at cruise speeds

Highly recommend
