Who needs reverse?

We just had one of our 2012 V6's (not mine!) lose reverse gear with only 6400 miles on the clock. Not sure what the problem is but when I find out I'll post an update.

Hey Paul.... did they fix the car yet? Or did reverse get left out to the budget cuts... (grin) j/k!
System Manager and your tour guide for the day. 2015 Caprice w/LFX, former NC DPS staff car. Partial hybrid G8/SS/Camaro SS interior mods, SS MyLink radio upgrade, 2016 Camaro V6 rims, GMPP Malibu chrome exhaust tips, otherwise bone stock for now.

I think he just uses his rookie to push the car backwards. ;) I have no update yet. I'll go to the garage on Monday and try to get an update then.

Still no update on this. I checked on it on Monday and it was still at the dealership, its bee there since 6/20! I'll let you know as soon as I know.

Wow... down time now exceeding 1/2 month. Y'all are very patient Paul. I'd be jumping up and down on the phone with a fleet rep. if the dealer didn't make nice fast!

I know! Its warranty work so I'm sure its not at the top of the dealers priority list. Still waiting....updates when I have them.

The car is back in service, still dont know 100% what the issue was but the little I got out of its driver is that they replaced the transmission with a new one. More to come...

Nothing more to report. I checked again and they said the trans went on it, it was replaced with a new one. I guess that is going to be the story. Keep an eye on your reverse, its the first sign your having an issue.
