Driveline bushing
Driveline bushing
I lost a bolt on the front of the driveline. The bushing was spinning around and throwing the balance off. There is an alignment pin in the center of the driveline. Does anyone know if a part number exists for it?

The fasteners are serviced by GM as a kit, as is the coupling. No separate service parts--ie. bushings.
They are not inexpensive, unfortunately.

Was the bolt lost from the 3 bolts connecting transmission (drive) end flange (forward of front coupling) or on the prop shaft side?
I don't have a maintenance procedure to provide details--torque values, prohibitions against reuse of old fasteners, etc. Personally, I'd pull the shaft and coupler for inspection, get the service procedure, and follow it to the letter--you don't need to have a failure that could end up costing much more than new fasteners or a coupling, or both, by ignoring manufacturer's instructions.
