At post 1055 the Camaro guys detail an install:

And be prepared for a back order situation. Popular mod with the Camaro guys.

I will get one for sure if it will work for our cars.

Here it is in a G8 with some sort of custom engine cover.
Seems pretty low in there. But not checking it every day I guess.

Thanks to XC for finding this. I ordered one and have been trying since Friday to install. No luck, so far. Anybody else have any tips? I can't seem to get enough parallel height to get a straight downward shot into the trans. I have compressed the heat shield, moved wires.... I am at a standstill.

Thanks,

Maurice

Not sure but I think most people have approached the install from the bottom.

Oh I see you can't get it to go high enough to get the end in the hole. THink I saw somewhere someone said that was an issue. See if I can find their solution.

EDIT: Na, all they say is patience, apply some bending leverage to the heat shield to make room for the O2 sensor harness and take out the rear spark plug wire to give some more maneuverability. The vendor did state might be easier to insert the tube seal in the trans first then insert the tube into the seal while it is in the trans.
