ive got a 14 and the carpet is cheaper than the 11-13 , i get good guy pricing 416 plus tax , trunk liner was 179 , i think the mats were 130 something

found the part # for the 11-13 from when a friend asked - the carpet retails for 780.02 part #92249768

mm, 400 not too expensive, not awesome but won't have me eatin Ramon for a month. I wonder what the differences are between 12-14 ? I guess I'll find out when I light up the hot wrench.

***UPDATE****

well it's not the $5.72 gasket ...and the gasket isn't like an AC one or any I have seen on a GM car ...its like a dental dam or something ? I knew I was doomed when lines came off as a solid part ...although the diagram shows the lines and block separate, its crimped and like ALL gm crimped lines ....it leaks.

the trans has some sort of strange seal as well where the lines slip in. They actually look like there are a cap then during assembly the ram the lines in right through the rubber. (either that or this is bad too?)

bolt is a invert torx but a 3/8 -6pt fits tight with zero slippage or hackery.

SIDE NOTE** In a desperate attempt to save the day I thought maybe I could give the crimp some much needed crimping help .....I REALLY need a line set now! oh well I took a shot.

well that sucks , guess its good the line set is cheap considering , being its one part # usually means one piece

when you get the lines , double check for the seals/gaskets in the trans , kinda odd set up

Hmm, in the fuzzy picture, it looks like there are a couple of o-rings up in there? Can't tell for sure.

Is it possible that they had some issue with the transmission and simply bolted the lines back on without that gasket, or is there no way in h3ll the gasket GM shows to be the one actually works?

It still looks like the hardline is bent some where it goes into that mount, and I'm thinking it may be cracked. So a new hose assembly was probably in your future anyway. :-/

The lines are NOT separate pieces as the illustration shows in link to GM part direct in the early part of the thread line actually crimped int the block so its one hard assembly with NON rotation connections. The inserts IN the trans are like nothing I have seen I used to work at a trans shop ( years ago) I would describe them like the insert you would have when you change a filter in most newer GM trans's just smaller but now imagine it with a skin of rubber across it and then shove the line through it so there is a rubber that appears like a popped balloon. I would think they are for the assembly line since the trans is typically filled so it could be to keep fluid from leaking during mishandling. Ford does a similar thing, if you're the 1st person to drop the pan there's a plug tumbling around from the dipstick tube, they just drive it in they don't remove the plug . Sorry pics were poor I REALLY wanted that one to be clear but I'll have a 2nd chance when the line set comes in. I asked about them (inserts) but parts guy had no info.
