Alright since I haven't found much real info on how to make the ss steering wheels work I figured I start my own topic on my pursuit.
I have a 2014 caprice and I have a 2014 ss wheel. I added a wire from pin 21 bcm plug x4 the green bcm plug and ran it with a switch to pin 8 on the clockspring. I turned tutd on with hp tuners and nothing changed, car still shifted on its own.
So I moved the wire to x3 the blue bcm plug and went for a test drive and it drove normally with the switch off but as soon as you turned it on it downshifted to 1st and stayed there. Turn the switch off and back to normal.
Update, I looked at my upshift button and it wasn't snapped all the way in with the wires still hooked up to pin 11 on the blue bcm connector the tutd works as advertised. It will hold it in gear until you bump the paddles. I'll take pictures once I permanently install my switch and route the wire. But for now heres my video proof of function. https://youtu.be/3kZr-RX0CtQ
