I am happy with the H&R 50750's on my 2013 9C1. Total drop was 2" The ride is nice and not like most other cars I have dropped. I sits lower than my Dad's G8 GXP.

Looks good. You keep your factory struts front and rear?

Looks really nice!

Are you running stock size tires?

Looks like it's just the springs. MSRP $360 according to H&R. Not bad.

I am running the original struts and stock tires. The car has 70,000 miles on it. I got the H&R's through Tire Rack for $231.00 with free shipping. They were here in two days.

To those who have lowered their car, how is the ride quality compared to stock? Thinking of lowering my car but I daily drive it.

Not that different. You will have to go around potholes and other weirdness in the road, but you're probably already doing that as these cars' suspensions are very stiff. I have yet to scrape on anything; there's still plenty of ground clearance if you drive carefully.

I live in the Chicago area, avoiding potholes and bad roads is near impossible

The springs are so cheap though, i may just try it, keeping my old springs if i don't like it.

I just installed a set of H&R springs on the 2014. It's not a hard ride at all. Because of the weight of the car, it is fairly compliant; maybe just a tad stiffer. I can't comment on the handling just yet because I found a broken sway bar link and my rears are fully "independent" right now. I also need an alignment. ;)
